GEORGE City, EXUMA – The George City Clinic is yet another public overall health facility with no useful air conditioning (A / C), in accordance to Exumas and Ragged Island MP Chester Cooper.

This is simply because the Community Hospitals Authority (PHA) recently identified it was continuing its endeavours to restore air conditioning at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) in New Providence.
In a statement, Cooper, who is also vice chairman of the official opposition, urged the federal government to act promptly to take care of the trouble.
“Residents and clients at the George Town, Exuma clinic, produced me mindful that the facility’s air conditioning experienced not been working for a even though,” he said.
“I raised the subject with the Minister of Wellness, who has confident me that money will be drawn from the new spending budget to right the dilemma.
“The govt requires to act urgently as this has produced an unsanitary and not comfortable surroundings for the facility’s employees and clients.”
Cooper mentioned that his get together had “a fantastic eyesight” for the George Town Clinic and assured that it “will keep on to drive for a fully geared up and staffed facility.”
