West Central School Corporation is still planning some facility modernizations. Superintendent Dan Zylstra says the school company is considering using some of its COVID-19 stimulus money to upgrade its HVAC systems.
“So we’re promoting certain HVAC improvements so we can get some quotes before deciding exactly what we’re going to do,” explains Zylstra.
There are also plans for some summer projects underway. Zylstra said West Central will add more security cameras with funding from the Secured School Safety Grant. There are also plans for painting and new carpets in the elementary school and the renovation of the health classroom at the high school.
