The Nave Air Conditioning System has been designed by Yael Issacharov as a naturalistic air conditioning solution that harnesses the power of evaporative cooling in terracotta. The system is based on the Palestinian Jara and is constructed with terracotta that performs evaporative cooling once water is poured into the main body. The system is designed in both freestanding units and wall-mounted panels, which are capable of being placed in any area of the house and also maintain a stylish form.
The Nave Air Conditioning System works without the need for any electricity and adds a touch of Arabic design style into any space. The naturalistic air conditioning system is the winner of an A’ Design Award for 2022.
