HVAC Expert July 3, 2022

Just over two weeks after a fire razed its office on North Broadway Avenue in Stockton, Rod Johnson Air Conditioning has found a new home near the Miracle Mile, Johnson said in a Facebook post on Wednesday, June 29.

“We’re going to get bigger and better,” Johnson said the week of the fire.

The new space is in a brick office building at 645 W. Harding Way, a few blocks west of Pacific Avenue.

The building also houses a few other businesses, including 1st Priority Dental Laboratory.

The three-alarm fire that consumed Johnson’s old shop in the early morning of June 14 required 39 firefighters, eight fire engines and three trucks to extinguish, Battalion Chief Brandon Doolan said.

A representative of the Stockton Fire Department could not be reached on Friday afternoon for comment regarding the cause of the fire.

Johnson’s employees continued working in a temporary location after the office burned down, he said the week of the fire.

“I’ve always said that I’d be loyal to my customers … We’re not going to abandon them.”

“We have eight trucks and vans on the road to keep on serving our customers as usual,” Johnson said in the Facebook post.
