A Wedgefield guy was charged with prison sexual conduct following reportedly inappropriately touching a lady below the age of 8.
The incident transpired Monday early morning at a residence on North Salem Avenue wherever the suspect, 33-calendar year-previous Joshua Morris, was sent to repair a heating and air device, mentioned Tonyia McGirt, information officer for the Sumter Police Department.
There, Morris reportedly walked into a place the boy or girl was in, exposed himself, and then touched it.
Morris turned around the earlier Thursday and was charged with 3rd-diploma criminal sexual conduct with a small, McGirt mentioned. He was posted to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Detention Heart.
An investigation is ongoing.
