New to BCL Enclosures are the lockable steel enclosures of the BEDS series with solid doors, which offer high-quality, safe and cost-effective protection for electronic and electrical outdoor installations in outdoor areas with IK10 specifications against impacts. BEDS enclosures provide a robust solution for a wide variety of applications, including HVAC installations, lighting and outdoor consumer units, where protection from the elements and tampering is important. BEDS door housings are supplied as an “all-inclusive” kit for quick and easy installation.
For outstanding robustness and longevity, BEDS housing housings are made of galvanized steel, powder-coated in gray RAL7035 and have a three-year corrosion guarantee. The housing rear panels of the BEDS series are made of 2 mm thick galvanized steel, perforated steel rear panels are also available as an option. Spacers for the back plate are also included in the kit. All bolts are made of stainless steel. Another advantage of the enclosures of the BEDS series is a pre-wired and installed grounding strap between the door and the enclosure, which saves valuable installation time. The steel enclosures of the BEDS series are supplied complete with lock and key and wall brackets made of galvanized steel. Since the BEDS series was primarily designed for outdoor installation, the cable entry modules for cable entry (which can be mounted from above or below) are supplied with seals according to IP66 for complete protection against dust, water jets or waves.
This comprehensive range is available in 21 different sizes, from 250 mm H x 200 mm W x 130 mm D to 1250 mm H x 600 mm W x 300 mm T. They comply with IEC 60529 and are CE certified. The lockable steel enclosures of the BEDS series with solid door will be available directly from bclenclosures.com from October 2021.
