Rye Brook, New York-based Paraco Gas entered into a strategic partnership with New York-based Thuesen Mechanical to deliver HVAC services to customers in Westchester, New York, and Fairfield, Connecticut. The joint venture will be known as Paraco Energy and Home Services.
For more than 50 years, Paraco has provided propane to customers for home heating, indoor and outdoor cooking, pool heating, generators and more. Expanding into HVAC services is a natural extension to complete the entire home heating and cooling services for customers, according to the company.
In addition, Paraco says, the partnership will bring value to both the company and its customers, with more technicians available for installations, service and repairs to meet the needs of its growing customer base.
“Selecting the right company for this partnership was imperative,” says Kent Thuesen, owner of Thuesen Mechanical. “Paraco’s company values combined with their name recognition and reputation will help us bring HVAC services to thousands of new customers.”
Paraco currently services 120,000 customers, primarily residential, throughout the Northeast. Residential customers transitioning from heating oil as a primary energy source for home heating represent a potential new customer base as Paraco expands its HVAC business.
“Our business continues to evolve as we transition to a full-service energy company,” says Joe Armentano, Paraco’s CEO. “We are excited to enter this new chapter for Paraco with Thuesen Mechanical as our partner.”
Adds Christina Armentano, COO and third-generation family member at Paraco, “Our draw to Thuesen was its stellar reputation in the HVAC space, and this partnership gives us the opportunity to expand our service offerings to our growing customer base.”
Paraco’s joint venture with Thuesen Mechanical will offer plumbing, heating system installations, water treatment systems, air conditioning and conservation to the counties of Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess in New York, along with Fairfield County, Connecticut.
