Durham, N.C. — Two local families in need have brand new HVAC systems, thanks to a donation from Michael and Son Services.
The company surprised them on the field Saturday during the Durham Bulls game.
Kellie is a single mom, who cares for her child with special needs after recently losing her husband and still finds time to give back to the community.
Ostella served in the military and was a former member of the Durham Negro League.
Both have been struggling without heat and AC, until now.
Both Kellie and Ostella were nominated by either family or friends for the giveaway.
