LG Electronics commercial air conditioning technology is recognized internationally for its ability to improve indoor air quality. This technology has made schools, hospitals and other public institutions healthier and safer by removing harmful bacteria and allergenic substances.
The LG Dual Vane Cassette System has been certified by reputable international bodies. Intertek, TÜV Rheinland and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) for their effectiveness in providing clean air with emissions of highly volatile organic compounds (VOC). The gadget is a versatile system air-conditioning product with two wings, which ensures a strong airflow and a wide, even coverage. With six different modes, the direction and strength of the air flow can be controlled in each room or according to individual requirements.
In particular, the LG Dual Vane Cassette is the world’s first heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) solution to receive UL’s Greenguard Gold certification for low VOC emissions. VOCs are chemicals released as gases from certain solids and liquids and are common in many household items. They can have a significant impact on air quality if, in addition to having short and long-term health effects, they also occur in abundance.
According to Underwriter’s Laboratories, products that are Greenguard certified for low chemical emissions help create a healthier indoor living environment.
The LG Dual Vane cassette has also been recognized by Intertek for reducing harmful particles in indoor air. These include bacteria like Escherichia coli, which can cause diarrhea and vomiting, Staphylococcus aureus, which is found in the airways but is sometimes responsible for pneumonia and bone infections.
Because of its ability to reduce the presence of infection-causing bacteria, the LG Dual Vane Cassette is the ideal air conditioner for use in schools and healthcare facilities where air quality is a top priority.
The test service provider TÜV Rheinland has also certified LG’s 5-stage air cleaning system, which can effectively remove ultra-fine dust, allergens and harmful bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus from the air. The conditioning also reduces Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria, which are known to colonize medical devices that cause opportunistic infections in hospitals.
The air cleaning and allergen removal functions of the LG Dual Vane Cassette have also been certified by the British Allergy Foundation. An allergen is a substance that causes an allergic reaction in the human body. Common allergens are dust, pollen, mites, fungi, and pet fur.
“These trusted certifications confirm the importance LG attaches to prioritizing the wellbeing of its customers. HVAC plays a key role in making the indoor climate comfortable and safe for residents. LG will continue to deliver solutions that meet the highest international standards for healthy operation and effective performance, ”said James Lee, LG’s executive vice president and head of the Air Solution Business.
