CARVER – The simplest of comforts – breathing clean air – is a necessity, not a luxury.
For Carver resident Louise, who has spent her life caring for her disabled son, now 42, providing him with this simplest of comforts was proving to be difficult.
That’s when Lennox Industries and Cotti-Johnson, HVAC & Electrical stepped up, donating new cooling equipment and installation free of charge as part of their Feel the Love program.
On Friday, Oct. 15, the installation team replaced her 23-year-old air conditioning system that had been shutting down on her with the new one because her son needs comfortable air to breath.
She tried to get a quick fix for it, but they didn’t know how long that would last, so they chose her for the Feel the Love program.
Over the past 12 years, Lennox and its dealers have supported community members by completing over 1,500 free installations in deserving U.S. and Canadian homes for neighbors and local heroes in need.
“This year, with more than half, or 51 percent of homeowners planning to spend more time inside their home in the coming months, indoor air quality is more important than ever, according to Melissa Chicoine with the HVAC team.
“That’s why we were honored to take part in providing consistently clean, perfect air to those in need,” she said.
