KFR
KAMIAH – Thursday, January 19, just before 100 p.m. Kamiah Fire and Rescue was dispatched to smoke in a structure at Freedom Northwest Credit Union located at 303 Main in Kamiah.
Command 20, Engine 22, and Medic 21 responded. Upon arrival, smoke was found in the structure with a strong smell of electrical. An HVAC was found to have some issues after KFR laddered the building and made roof access.
The Kamiah branch of Freedom Northwest Credit Union was temporarily closed Tuesday. All staff and members are safe and the branch will re-open Friday, January 21 for regular business hours. They apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
