Tata Steel’s Jamshedpur steelworks in India can seize 5 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) for every day.
Just after productively demonstrating the firm’s job, Aniruddha Sharma, CEO of Carbon Clean up claimed they strategy to swiftly speed up the amount of carbon seize jobs.
He added, “Capturing CO2 from blast furnace gas will not only decarbonise steel mills, it will also open up up chances for Tata Metal to enter the hydrogen financial system.”
Tata Metal also needs to lead to the potential “circular overall economy” by minimizing its CO2 emissions and introducing CO2 seize.

Tata Steel’s next target is to grow its carbon seize, use and storage (CCUS) services.
