Each holiday season, Geiger Heating and Air partners with Trane to donate a complete heating and air system to a winner on the Gulf Coast.
This year’s giveaway took an especially heart-warming turn.
“We have Ms. Phyllis Liddell here, and her name was drawn as the winner. She informed us yesterday that her system broke and she just got a new one,” Geiger’s Brian Younger tells reporter Lorraine Weiskopf. “First thing we asked was, ‘Well, who do you want to bless with it?’”
Liddell chose to donate her new heating and air system to family member Georgia Fountain.
The group arrived this morning at Fountain’s residence to deliver the announcement.
