The organizer of the Furnace Solutions conference, the Society of Glass Technology (SGT), will host this year’s event online.
The two-day program will include six speakers who will discuss the latest trends and topics related to furnaces in glass manufacturing.
The SGT announced that the conference will take place on the afternoon of June 9th and 10th from 1.30pm.
SGT President Stuart Hakes said: “We have chosen this time to have the opportunity to easily connect with our European contingent and hopefully spark the interest of the Indian subcontinent and early birds in the US. We have an exciting number of speakers. “

1 p.m. – Another Approach to Oven Testing –
The speaker is Hans Mahrenholtz from Glass Service, Czech Republic.
1.30pm – Alternative low carbon fuel technologies for glass making. The speaker is Aston Fuller, General Manager of Glass Futures.
2:00 p.m. – Real-Time Liner Diagnosis – The speaker is Steven Reumschuessel, Saveway Technical Director.
