HVAC Expert October 7, 2022

The 2022 season finale in the Constant Aviation Factory Stock Showdown category is set to include an increased purse, as NHRA officials announced today a $5,000 purse bonus from Dring Air Conditioning and Heating.

The winner in the highly-competitive Constant Aviation Factory Stock Showdown category at next weekend’s 37th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals at Texas Motorplex in Dallas will now receive a $2,500 payout as part of an overall $5,000 increase for the overall purse, adding another exciting incentive to the final race of a memorable 2022 campaign.

“We are proud to race in the Constant Aviation Factory Stock series and the Dallas race is our home race, so Dring was excited to do something additional and special for the Constant Aviation Factory Stock racers,” Dring Air Conditioning and Heating President Dennis Chaisson said. “It’s such an incredible class with so many talented drivers and being it’s the last race of the year, we wanted to help do something big for them. Plus, I’m excited to compete next weekend and have our local company be part of such a huge event at the Texas Motorplex.”

Based in the Dallas and Fort Worth area, Dring Air Conditioning and Heating is an HVAC company that has provided quality top-tier air conditioning and heating services for nearly 70 years. They are the oldest service company in the Dallas area, while Chaisson is also a competitor in the Constant Aviation Factory Stock Showdown category and will be racing at the finale at the Texas Motorplex.

Through seven races this season, the Constant Aviation Factory Stock Showdown class has featured an abundance of standout action, with top drivers competing for the prestigious Wally trophy driving Chevrolet COPO Camaros, Ford Cobra Jets, and Dodge Challenger Drag Paks.

Heading to the last event of the year for the class next weekend in Dallas, David Barton holds a commanding lead over Bill Skillman and Aaron Stanfield, who has won the championship the past two seasons. With an added bonus for the finale, Barton will now look to finish off his world-title run with a successful weekend at the Texas Motorplex.
