LEWES, Del. – Delaware State Police say a Hockessin man was arrested early Monday morning following a reported burglary in Lewes.
We’re told at around 5:40 a.m., troopers were called to a residence under construction on the 31000 block of Carvel Road for a burglary complaint. It was discovered that the suspect stole an HVAC furnace from inside of the garage to the residence.
Through further investigation, the suspect was developed as 39-year-old Christoper Sarver, he was located at his residence in Hockessin and taken into custody.
Sarver was charged with third degree burglary, theft $1500 or greater, and selling stolen property over $1500, all felonies. He was later released on his own recognizance.
