Commercial carbon dioxide sensor for HVAC and ventilation applications

Honeywell’s CRIR business carbon dioxide sensor is a one-channel, non-dispersive infrared sensor. The gadget is now available from TTI Europe.

Inside of the CRIR is a detection chamber with an infrared resource at just one conclude and a detector fitted with an optical filter at the other conclusion. The resource emits radiation with wavelengths that comprise the absorption band of CO2. The filter blocks wavelengths that do not react to the presence of CO2, which raises selectivity and sensitivity.

The automatic baseline correction functionality can routinely calibrate the most affordable reading from the sensor to 400 ppm CO2 around a pre-configured interval. This improves prolonged term security and can get rid of the need to have for calibration.

Acceptable purposes for the gadget include things like HVAC, need ventilation, indoor air quality measurement, and air purification techniques.
