Two people were killed when the AC suddenly exploded in the office of Jazz Cinemas Chennai while the AC was being repaired. Also, one person is being treated in a critical condition.
In Guindy Industrial Estate, Chennai, the AC in the office floor of Jazz Cinemas Pvt Ltd has broken down. In this case, on the 30th, while the AC outdoor compressor was being serviced, one unit suddenly exploded. In this, Chinnadurai (48), Indrakumar (22) and Saravanan (42), who were serving, suffered severe burns and all three were admitted to Ramachandra Hospital for treatment.
After that, except Saravanan, the other two were sent to KMC Hospital for treatment. In this case, Indira Kumar who was under treatment died yesterday, Chinnadurai also died today. Saravanan continues to receive treatment.
Parangimalai police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
