Advanced Comfort Specialists, a residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration contractor has donated $3,500 and 250 hygiene items to Olivet Boys & Girls Club to support their Hubs of Hope initiative.
“We believe it’s important to invest in the future of the children of Berks County and to encourage them to follow their own path in the world, you never know if the next POTUS or Academy Award winner will grow up here,” added Chad Milligan, the company’s President.
Hubs of Hope is a strategic community initiative aimed at serving youth and families by connecting multiple local services, including clothing closets, mental health services, academic support, and more.

One of their programs in the Hubs of Hope initiative is the Olivet Pax program. Olivet Pax distributes hygiene products such as soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, and more to local families that are going through hardship.
To support this program and the entire organization, Advanced Comfort Specialists donated $3,500 and over 250 hygiene items, including toothbrushes, hairbrushes, soap, lotion, and more.
“We are incredibly grateful to Advanced Comfort for their generous contribution to our care closets and Hubs of Hope initiative. As an organization, we strive to address the holistic needs of youth in the community so that they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Thanks to support from community organizations and businesses, we can continue to make a positive impact in the lives of youth for years to come,” said Chris Winters, President and CEO at Olivet Boys & Girls Club.
Each year, Advanced Comfort Specialists donates thousands of dollars to local initiatives such as Olivet Boys & Girls Club, local fire companies, and youth sports teams to keep the community moving forward.
“We are always looking for ways to get involved and improve the lives of families, whether its through donations like this or through our services, because we can’t sleep at night until you can.”
