A local air conditioning company expanded operations in Southeast Texas, adding a Lumberton location in December.
American Air Systems, Inc., located at 1050 S. 23rd St. in Beaumont, announced in a Monday news release that the Lumberton location is at 523 N. LHS Dr., Suite 100.
“We are thrilled to open our Lumberton office and expand our business in the Hardin County area,” Lee Potter, Owner and President of American Air Systems, Inc., said in the release. “We have provided service in the area for many years and now have a stand-alone location to better serve our customers and team.”

American Air Systems does air conditioning installation and repair services in Jefferson, Hardin, Orange and Chambers counties. American Air Systems, Inc. also installs and maintains home generators, per the release.
Don Potter, Lee Potter’s father, started the company in 1982. Lee Potter has owned American Air Systems since 2018.
