Multi-disciplinary engineering and technology firm and one of the leading electromechanical contractors in the Middle East, Al-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies (AFET), which is part of Al-Futtaim Group, has been awarded a one-year contract to provide HVAC maintenance for the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department (IACAD).
Owing to its excellent reputation, relationships with key industry stakeholders, and top-notch performance on current projects with the IACAD, AFET will be managing the AC systems in eight additional departmental buildings.

Earlier this year, AFET was awarded a new three-year contract to provide facilities management services for Dubai Municipality’s Mohammed Bin Rashid Library (MBRL).
A stepping stone for AFET, the company’s win is testament to its ongoing relationship with Dubai Municipality, and stellar performance results on current projects in partnership the government entity.
Completed in 2019, MBRL is built over 54,000m2 of land and is located in the Al Jaddaf region of Dubai. The project boasts extraordinary design features, inspired by the shape of a Turkish lectern.
