An air conditioning maintenance technician was shot lifeless along Caledonia Highway in Manchester this afternoon.
He was recognized as Orlando Brown.
Brown was reportedly sitting down under a tent in close proximity to a bar and lounge on Caledonia Road around 1:20 p.m. when a gunman approached him and shot him multiple moments.
An eyewitness explained to The STAR that the Brown was standing with a female when the shooter approached and explained to her to get out of the way before opening fire on Brown.
He was taken to the Mandeville Regional Medical center, where by he was pronounced useless.
The shooter is claimed to have fled into the place on foot.
The investigation carries on.
