BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – To continue providing a high level of service to the cocoa community, the City of Cocoa is now offering online permits for things like window replacements, plumbing and electrical work, fencing and HVAC replacements, sheds and more.
A new online portal allows residents and business owners to apply for permits, pay fees, view guidelines, view submission requirements, and schedule inspections.
The new system, which went into operation on March 1, 2021, allows our residents to conveniently submit permit applications from the comfort of their own homes and track the permit during the permit process.
Approvals will continue to be accepted in person in the building and approval office from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the town hall.
Same-day and over-the-counter permits also continue every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Office for Buildings and Permits in City Hall.
“With the launch of this new online approval portal, doing business with the City of Cocoa is now easier than ever. We are constantly looking for ways to make city services easier and easier for our residents and business owners, ”said Michael C. Blake, Mayor of Cocoa.
